ERP SoftOne

In this project, we undertook the complete integration of an online store built on the Shopify platform with the SoftOne ERP system. Our goal was to fully automate the data flow between the two systems, eliminating the need for manual entries and significantly reducing the margin of error. The integration was implemented through the use of official APIs, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient communication.

The implementation included the synchronized updating of products, stock levels, customers, and orders between Shopify and SoftOne. Every new order placed in the e-shop is automatically recorded in the ERP, while changes in stock or prices are dynamically reflected in the online store. We paid special attention to the correct field mapping, the management of tax rates, and the client’s commercial policy rules, ensuring that the system operates accurately and consistently in real time.

On a technical level, we designed a modular architecture that allows flexibility and scalability for future needs. We used webhooks for immediate event reception from Shopify, while implementing caching and error-handling mechanisms to ensure stable communication with SoftOne’s endpoints. In addition, we developed a logging and monitoring mechanism for synchronization processes, allowing for easy detection and resolution of potential inconsistencies. This ensured a reliable and efficient integration system capable of handling large data volumes without losses or delays.

The result was a fully automated ecosystem that seamlessly connects e-commerce with business process management. Through this integration, our client saves valuable time, reduces operational costs, and gains real-time visibility into their commercial activity.
